Welcome to 4th grade with Mrs. Leonard. I'm excited to get to know you and build our class community within the walls of room 10.
This week, on Thursday and Friday, please make sure you have a math notebook and a writing and vocabulary notebook. Also, a binder with dividers will be important. See if you can get a loom and a knitting hook and yarn. If you need to borrow knitting supplies or have me provide a notebook or a binder, by Monday we will iron these details out.
Continue reading and taking AR quizzes.

MRS. LEONARD'S 4TH GRADE CLASS
Hi there,
I am honored to be your child's educator.
Returning to in person full day school is a big deal. This will be challenging and exciting and jarring and ultimately, special.
4th Grade is a big leap for kiddos: lots of responsibility and lots of work and also lots of fun...of course, we are in a global pandemic so education looks and feels profoundly different with a distance learning model. Please know that I am pivoting as effectively as I can. Let me know when you appreciate something and let me know when you would like me to do something differently.
My email is sarah_leonard@pvusd.net
***Families can help by supporting your child with:***
Ask how your child is feeling. Help them connect with friends on the phone and at school.
*Organization and schoolwork check ins ("Show me your schoolwork. Let's take a look at it together. What was challenging for you? What was easy for you? How can I help you?")
*Helping your child remember:

*Please see the left margin for pertinent information.
Please donate the following items for projects: knitting hooks, needles, yarn, looms, kleenex, & glue sticks. We especially need large ziplock bags for our looms for knitting materials to remain clean.
