Campus Kids Connection

We are excited to bring our on-site after school program to the families of Valencia. Our curriculum is based on monthly themes that inspire our activities and clubs. Our more structured activities are called "clubs" and range from science, cooking, modern art, sculpture, dinosaurs, space, nature explorers, dance, drama, sewing, inventions and outdoor games. We also have daily group meetings and activity blocks, as well as, homework club. We serve a daily healthy afternoon snack as well. A general outline of the daily routine is as follows: student check-in, group meeting, snack, homework time, self-directed play inside and outside, and clubs. Admission

Children are served without regard to race, gender, religion, ethnic background, or disability. CKC, Inc. operates without religious instruction of any kind. Our goal is to ensure that our program is an appropriate placement for your child. In order for the program to accommodate the well-being, mixed schedules and diverse needs of the families that we serve, all children in our care must be able to function well in a stimulating, ever-changing group environment. CKC reserves the right to restrict a child from participation in any activity or field trip and to determine if continued enrollment is in the best interest of the child.

After School 24-25 Enrollment opened March 18, 2024 and will remain open throughout the year. Enrollment or waitlist does not carry over to the following school year and is required yearly. Visit our Expanded Learning page on the PVUSD website to register. Please complete a Google Form for each child. Enrollment will be based on Expanded Learning’s funding priority guidelines. We work closely with the school community and CKC to ensure these guidelines are met in order to continue to offer these free services.
The CKC program has high interest and limited enrollment capacity. In order to accommodate more students, the days you don’t need program can be offered to a family on the waitlist. Students will be required to attend 80% of their contracted days. (Example: If your contract is for 5 days/week, your child can miss 4 days/month at most). Contracts will be amended for those who fail to meet attendance requirements. Of course we understand there are special circumstances that are beyond your control such as illness, transportation issues, etc. that will need to be reported to CKC.
